Staying In Touch
As the title of this page indicates, as part of the Old Dovorian Club its important that members should be able to keep on touch, particularly as the Club has over 5000 members both here in the United Kingdom but also spread across the globe all united by the common bond of being educated or part of the Dover College wider community.
Communication and being able to inform the members of the Club about events, and news, that might be of interest to it’s membership is one of the main key principles that the Club was formed on and is even more relevant in todays fast moving digital world.
The actual definition of “Staying In touch” as listed in the Oxford Dictionary, is when People use the idiom “stay in touch” is defined as a desire “To express their intent to keep up communication or connection” with someone.
It is for this reason that the Club have various platforms which enables both OD’s and the Club to communicate with each other and share news, informing of events and activities, through social media, the edition of the “Dovorian News” , The Old Dovorian Club Blog page and finally through the various stand alone Old Dovorian Groups.
