The Old Dovorian Club’s membership stretches across the world, it is a truly international old school club, with a network that spans over a hundred different countries.
As a result, you will find Old Dovorians in Europe, the Far East, the Middle East, Australia, Africa, Asia, and in the Americas.
We are delighted to share that Rick Maurd, (M74 – 79) has agreed to lead the OD Club satellite which covers Singapore, as well as being a point of contact if OD’s wish to connect, whether they’re visiting or live in Singapore. Rick is passionate about Dover College, the OD Club and connecting with ODs from all eras.
Rick is an architect, who has been based in Singapore, for a number of years now, and has his own architect practise, which not only covers Singapore, but also Thailand, as well as the whole of the Far East region.

After the Covid shut down was lifted, we took the opportunity for a mini catch up in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
A casual get, together took place at the Royal Selangor Golf Club in March 2003, we just missed Vun-tsir Lee (S79 – 84) but ODs Rick Maurd (M74 -79), Joey Tai (S80 – 85), Rosli Wheldhen (P77 -82), Yew Tek Khor, (M78 -83), Mas Nolizam and his lovely wife made it.
Another sporting event was held here in Singapore, in which ODs excelled by being part of the team who managed first and third place in the local darts competition. OD Tristan Tabori (L79 – 81), being on the winning team.
Double bonus, Rick Maurd (M74 – 79) caught up with fellow Architect David Langstone Jones (S76 – 80), in Singapore on his transit to Australia after his swimming coaching in Thailand, and later caught again in Sydney
