Extra-Ordinary General Meeting of The Old Dovorian Club 23rd April 2024

23 April @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

Notice of the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting of The Old Dovorian Club to be held in

The Cork and Bottle, Soho on 23rd April 2024 at 6.30 pm

Owing to other events being held at Dover College at the same time as our AGM, it is not possible to hold our AGM on the school grounds as normal.  While it is possible to hold the AGM in the Maxton Pavilion, it is felt that this will be inappropriate owing to the nature of discussions about the future of the Club, along with the sparser facilities on offer.

In line with our rules, we are able to change the venue of our AGM by holding an EGM to approve this.  We have to provide a minimum of 4 weeks notice.

Having considered our options, we believe holding the AGM at RCPYC Dover, to be a reasonable alternative venue.  We are therefore seeking approval from the OD Club membership to proceed.

Old Dovorian Club Agenda

  1. Change of venue for AGM on 7 July 2024 to the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club in Dover

  1. No other Business

Since this is the only item on the agenda, a simple vote of  YES or NO is requested can be register on line via this secure  LINK, or agreement to proxy via the chair.  In either event, your responses must be received a minimum of 4 weeks in advance of the EGM.

Should you wish to attend the EGM in person please do let us know in advance so that we can ensure there is sufficient space to accommodate us all.
