
The Cranleigh Group Annual 2023 Dinner
The Cranleigh Group meet up for their annual Old Dovorian Supper held at the White Hart in Cranleigh, Surrey (known as the largest village in the country ) The Cranleigh Group have been holding their annual dinner at the “White Heart” since 2011, which usually takes place in mid November to coincide with St. Martins Day (the Colleges patron saint)
On Friday the 10th November 22 OD’s sat down, together with the Colleges Headmaster sat down for a steak and kidney pie dinner followed by apple and blackcurrant crumble .
Michael Lightbourn (S56 -61) came over from the Bahamas ,whilst David Sawyer (M54 – 58) came over with his wife from Sydney, Australia to attend.

The evening is, as always hosted and organised by Nigel Nicholson (M60 – 64) and Tony Robin (M61 – 66) in their usual efficient way.
Following the evening dinner, 6 ODs stayed the night at the White Hart in Cranleigh, and dispersed the following morning after a leisurely cooked breakfast.
Next years annual dinner is already being thought about, with a thought of maybe holding a Lunch instead of an evening dinner, so keep a look out for more information in the coming months.
